In common with all care homes in the UK, Southmead has focused on continuous improvement of the overall quality of its care services. This is not just in respect of the obvious such as actual personal care, food and surroundings. It encompasses the whole range of outcomes required by the Health & Social Care Act 2008. A key example from our improvement plan is our work toward accreditation under the Gold Standard Framework for End of Life Care.
Southmead is committed to providing high standards of care and a good quality of life to its residents, who are encouraged to be as independent as their health allows.
