The accommodation in the home has been substantially modernised,
whilst still retaining the elegance and charm of the high
ceilings typical of 1930s style houses. All bedrooms are furnished
to a high standard and fitted with wash-hand basins. Some
have en-suite WCs and hand-basins. Communal bathrooms are
located at either end of the house and within easy reach of
all Residents. Residents are offered a choice of accommodation
with single or shared rooms. TV points are provided in most
bedrooms and a telephone can be installed if wished. A Carer
Call System is in operation from each room.
The house has a welcoming lounge, tastefully
furnished. There is a spacious dining room and an attractive
reception hall. The house has full central heating and full
compliance with modern fire precautions and alarm systems.
The South facing garden is noted by all who experience it
to be a peaceful, sheltered place to pass the day. The Proprietors
maintain it themselves, and it is renowned for a season-long
show of floral beauty. There is a small feature rockery and
fishpond which abounds with natural waterlife.
Residents are allowed, wherever possible, to live their lives
as independently as possible. They are encouraged to remain
active as long as possible and participate in as many activities
as they are able to manage, subject to their own limitations.

whether privately funded or assisted by Social Services. Any
special dietary requirement is catered for.
Fees are reviewed annually and paid in advance. The fee includes
the cost of accommodation, all meals, laundry service and
24 hour care.
